One woman in Minnesota, out of curiosity, wondered if her head could fit in the exhaust pipe of someone’s truck. Eventually it got stuck.
Nineteen-year-old Kaitlyn Strom was simply enjoying the Winstock Country Music Festival in the town of Winsted on Friday. When she saw the big exhaust pipe, she thought, “Hey my head could probably fit in that.”
“So I tried it. It did fit, but it didn’t want to come back out,” Strom told The Hutchinson Leader. She estimated that she was stuck for 45 minutes.
The Winsted Fire Department was called to cut the exhaust pipe. The moment was caught on video and later uploaded by a Facebook page named Truck Rice.
The post has since gone viral upon posting, with 3,500 likes and reactions and 1.3 million views as of writing.
When she got home Saturday morning, she saw the video that had already been viewed thousands of times in a matter of hours. She said about the video: “I never expected this to happen.”
After her head got freed from the exhaust pipe, she managed to take a photo with its owner, Tom Wold. Strom uploaded the photo on her own Facebook account.
“I remember getting my head unstuck, and I just looked at him and apologized, and he said, ‘No, I’m just glad you’re OK. Don’t worry about it,'” Strom was quoted in the report.
