Theirs is a "love story" that's been unfolding on noontime television for three months now, and on Tuesday, Vice Ganda and Jackque Gonzaga had the audience of "It's Showtime" erupting in cheers again as their impromptu banter took a pivotal turn.
The sweet moment happened during the Miss Q&A segment, which Vice Ganda regularly co-hosts with Anne Curtis and where Gonzaga, a dancer, is tasked to hand a fishbowl of questions to contestants.
This time, the banter of the tandem now known as "ViceJack" focused on Vice Ganda's "confusion" as to whether there was any truth to their exchange of affectionate words.
Gonzaga, expertly curving Vice Ganda's questions with her own, had the comedian speechless at one point, to Curtis' amusement.
While the conversation did not come to a resolution, Vice Ganda and Gonzaga exchanged thanks for making each other happy.
With the pretend-love story taking a "serious" turn, it appears fans of the tandem have more to look forward to in coming episodes.
