MANILA, Philippines — Unidentified men seized an estimated P4 million in valuables and cash from a hotel in Pasay City early Tuesday morning.
According to an initial report by the Southern Police District, four males armed with short firearms robbed Mabuhay Manor Hotel at around 3:10 a.m of January 2.
They took P33,000 from the hotel cashier and the .38 revolver of the guard on duty.
A family staying in the hotel was also robbed of P790,000 in cash and gadgets valued at around P350,000. The robbers also took a luxury watch valued at $30,000 (around 1.497 million) and jewelry valued at $29, 950 (around P1.495 million).
The suspects fled the hotel in a black Hyundai Starex parked in front of the hotel along Ortigas St.
The police have yet to determine the plate number of the vehicle used.
