Maring forces 22 flight cancellations

TWENTY-TWO domestic flights were cancelled while two international flights were diverted to Clark International Airport due to tropical storm Maring as of 3 p.m. yesterday.

Air Asia flight AK 582 Kuala Lumpur to Manila, Cebu Pacific flight 5J 102 Guam to Manila were diverted to Clark International Airport.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) canceled six flights: PR 2265/2266 Manila-Naga-Manila, PR 2261/2262 Manila-Naga-Manila and PR 2921/2922 Manila-Legazpi-Manila. Affected passengers may rebook/refund within 30 days from their original flight dates and penalties/charges are waived.

Skyjet also cancelled their six flights from Manila-Siargao-Manila and Manila-Basco-Manila M8 421/422, M8 816/8167 and M8 713/714 Manila-Busuanga-Manila.

Cebu Pacific flight to Puerto Princesa to Manila was also cancelled while their sister company Cebgo canceled four flights from Manila-San Jose Mindoro-Manila DG 6031/6032 and Manila-Busuanga-Manila DG 6041/6042 while Air Asia Zest cancelled its flight from Manila-Cebu-Manila flight Z2 777/778.
