THE Davao City Water District (DCWD) announced that low water pressure to no water will be experienced in some areas served by Panacan Water Supply System on February 20 to 22.
The water service interruption will give way to the scheduled rehabilitation of Panacan Production Well No. 4 to improve water yield of said well.
First set has these two schedules: 1) from 9 a.m. of February 20 until 9 a.m. of February 21, and 2) February 22 from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Affected are some Sasa areas: Airview Heights, BAT Compound, Bayview Village, Cabayugan I, II and III, De Guzman Village, Delbros Village, Doña Caridad Subd., Doña Socorro Village, Landmark Village I and II, Mahayahay Settlers, NCCC Panacan, Doña Mercedes Village, Nelia Ville Subd. I and II, Purok Bangoy, Sagrada, San Jose Village, San Lorenzo Ruiz Village, San Vicente, Sapaha, St. John, Suha Village, and Sunrise Village; and some Panacan areas: Benjamin Hills, Camp Panacan, Celedonia Village, Doña Mercedes Village I and II, Don Ramon Village, DPWH Depot, Emma Village, Panacan Public Market, Panacan Relocation, Pizarro Village, PMPC Village, RUC XI Panacan, San Miguel Village, St. Michael Village, Veterans Village, portion of C.P. Garcia Highway (from Panacan Relocation to DPWH Depot), and portion of Davao-Agusan Road (from junction of Panacan-Malagamot Road to Landmark Village 1 and from Landmark Village 1 to Doña Mercedes Village).
Second set is from 9 a.m. of February 21 until 9 a.m. of February 22, affecting Luzville Subd. and Sarmiento Subd. in Panacan; Ilang, Tibungco, Bunawan, and Lasang areas: Bugac-Ilang, Amparo Village, Upper Manggahan, Manggahan Village, Vicente Gloria Compound, Pena Village, Cal Village, Doña Consuelo Village, Malupiha Homeowners Assn., Tibungco Public Market, Tambongon, Sto. Niño Awad, Sto. Niño Hudson, Bucana, San Juan, Riverside, Inabangga, Muslim Village, Buhisan, NSV Ilang, Central Ilang, Panacan Valley, Budbud, Virgo Licanan, and portion of Davao-Agusan Road (from junction of Panacan-Malagamot Road to Lasang).
Elevated and far areas may still continue to experience low water pressure to no water after the scheduled water service interruption while DCWD’s operation is still recovering.
On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asked for the understanding and cooperation of the would-be affected customers.
The customers were also advised to store water in clean and covered containers, as water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
