AFTER a short hiatus, the "Laro't Saya sa Parke Program", a joint program of Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the Sports Development Division-City Mayors Office (SDD-CMO), finally resumes Sunday, April 8, at the People's Park Grounds.
Renah Vidamo of the SDD-CMO, in an interview with SunStar Davao on Saturday, said the weekly sports training and learning program features karatedo, taekwondo and boxing.
"Since bawal na sa People's Park magdala ng stick and bola, tinanggal muna ang arnis and ball games," she said. Zumba is also entered in the Laro't Saya sa Parke program.
The program took a break last November as mandated by the PSC due to consecutive events the national sports agency spearheaded the previous months.
